Messika Private Collection
Journées de la Haute Joaillerie | July 2019
Haute Couture also means High Jewelry and extraordinary pieces.
During Paris Couture Week, Valérie Messika will present her High Jewelry private collection – exclusive pieces.
These unique creations, made in the Messika Atelier, reflect the house savoir-faire and expertise.
Colored diamonds, extravagant designs and new types of wear – the theme of the private collection perfectly matches its name, free-flowing jewelry without constraints or conformity.
– TOI & MOI –
– NECKLACE –
In the XXL version, Maison Messika presents its Toi & Moi necklace set with breathtaking stones.
On one side, a sparkling pear cut diamond. On the other, a emerald cut diamond.
Thus arranged, face to face, the stones seem to want to touch each other, without ever managing it.
In true Messika fashion, these two stones are showcased on a delicate line of brilliant cut diamonds.
– RING –
In addition to the necklace, Valérie Messika imagined a new Toi & Moi ring with two exceptionnal pear diamonds.
With this ring, the designer pays an ode to the pear-cut with grace and femininity.
– PINK TEMPTATION –
– NECKLACE –
“How do I bring out the personality of this diamond?”
That’s the question that Valérie Messika asks herself every time she comes across an extraordinary stone.
For this magnificent intense rose radiant cut diamond, the creator imagined a modern scenography.
The piece focuses on a balancing act: in the hollow of an open loop that appears to hover on the choker,
the central stone reaches naturally to the left. We commend the bodl minimalism of this necklace that is perfectly mastered.
Chic detail: a fine line of micro-set brilliant cut diamonds can be seen on top of the necklace.
– PINK DESERT BLOOM –
– RING –
Armed with such expertise on diamonds, Maison Messika has access to extraordinary stones.
Coloured diamonds are part of this, like with this ring where we have a pear-cut diamond.
The first stage, on which everything hinges: the discovery.
The creator places the diamonds between her fingers, searching for the idea, the perfect mount and the perfect orientation for each stone. Should it be Toi & Moi?
A solitaire? Destructured, or bold rings on the fingers?
The flower inspired from the new High Jewelry collection, Desert Bloom, wins. Around this unique stone, brilliant and pear cut diamonds follow one another, as statement of the diamond and jewelery expertise of the Maison.
– M RAINBOW –
– HOOPS –
Coloured diamonds are genuine treasures of nature.
From yellow to green, from violet to rose as well as orange, Valérie Messika pays tribute to the diamond expertiseof the Maison with a unique set of pieces, composed of a necklace and these beautiful hoops.
Here, different colours and cuts of diamonds sit together in a joyous composition, like the touches of colour a painter adds to their pallet. Several months of research were necessary to source each and every stone from the two pieces.
Chic detail: the coloured diamonds are counter-balanced by the softness of the rose gold and the minimalist line of the micro-set diamonds.
– DIAMOND SPEARS –
– HOOP –
Even more daring, five pear cut diamonds appear to hover on this hoop earring.
What’s the secret ? Each one is linked by the knife-edge thread technique, the gold is discreet.
A tribal touch, the open loop at the back appears to pierce the lobe with its sparkling micro-set brilliant cut diamonds.
