The company that produces champagne since 1882, launched a limited edition of 100% varietal macabeo, parellada, xarel.lo and chardonnay. These (?) four varieties belong to the harvest of 2011 and appear to be the result of a careful selection of the best vineyards of Penedés.
Roger Goulart is one of the houses making the oldest cava of Catalonia, in the town of Sant Esteve de Ses Rovires in the Alt Penedès, an area where the vineyard is the main crop. In its centennial this sparkling Cava fine bubble is produced by the traditional method adapted to the latest developments.

On this occasion, launching four varietal grape varieties macabeo, parellada, xarel.lo and chardonnay. They belong to the harvest of 2011 and offer a wide palette of aroma and flavour elegant and balanced flavours, the result of a personalized selection by the winemaker and director of the dig, Pedro Muñoz, after monitoring their maturation process.
The history of this winery dates back to the late nineteenth century, when Canals Nubiola family founded one of the first companies producing cava in Catalonia. In the year 1882 Josep Canals started to develop a sparkling fashion of the time, that was highly appreciated by wine connoisseurs. Canals up the building that houses the current wineries: a stately Art Nouveau building that represents today one of the most unique buildings in St. Esteve de Ses Rovires. Made with care and attention, cavas of Roger Goulart are long aging, one of the main qualities of the firm. Today, Roger Goulart is one of the companies with the greatest international prestige cava.
