El Palauet, Living Barcelona

The building was designed by Pere Falqués I Urpi (who also designed the lampposts on Passeig de Gràcia) and was built in 1906. Originally a family home it went through several transformations including being the offices of the Deutsche Bank before the building was acquired by the El Palauet team in 2003.

After 3 years on renovations the event spaces were opened in 2006 and the suites were opened in 2010. The many decorative features including the 44 plaster molded ceilings and chandelier with 14000 pieces of bohemian crystal are considered historic treasures of the city of Barcelona and are protected by the Town Hall.

We are a six suite luxury hotel in the heart of Barcelona. Our team of personal assistants are on hand 24 hours a day to deal with all guest requests. We strive for our guests to feel comfortable and as if El Palauet is their home in Barcelona. We have a variety of guests.

Most are high net worth who come with families, partners or friends to enjoy the space, tranquility and privacy of El Palauet (the hotel is not open to the public.)
