Versace’s New Fragrance is Out and You Won’t Regret Giving it a Try

Described as sensual, youthful and fresh, the new Dylan Turquoise is created by perfumer Sophie Labbé. The composition balances a refreshing and juicy mandarin with primofiore lemon and traces of woods and musk. Fruity accents of black currant and exotic guava are mixed with floral tones of jasmine and freesia.

Dylan Turquoise Eau de Toilette is a fashionable aroma that matches today’s demands for ecological and environmental friendliness with responsibility by acquiring ingredients, both directly from nature and using modern “green” biotechnology. In addition, 85% of the fragrance elements are easily biodegradable.

The ad for Versace’s Dylan Blue fragrance was just released and it features the famous model, and longtime beloved by Versace, Bella Hadid, as the face for it. It was shot in a small French island near Corsica and Sardinia, during the pandemic and there’s also a short cameo by the Bella’s best friend and fellow model, Hailey Bieber. The models embody the young and effortless attitude of today’s Versace girl as they shimmer on the shoreline.

This particular campaign is a move away from the traditional brand imagery, combining unexpected video transitions with hazy, sun-drenched landscapes, reminiscent of a 1980s holiday album captured on film. Between the amazing landscapes of the island, Bella’s astonishing golden earrings, crop tops and a sheer chiffon blue dress, there is even a short but memorable topless scene.

The Italian luxury fashion brand chose a stunning scenario to introduce Hadid as the ambassador of Dylan Blue, shooting her between rocks, sand and inside the water. While Versace is most well-known for ornate metallic designs and symbolic prints, Hailey’s crystal mesh crop top, neon bikinis and center parted hair (styled with clips) tap into the vintage-inspired fashion and beauty trends most recently personified by Gen-Z influencers and seen widely across TikTok.

 The fragrance itself is fruity, settling into woody notes. With key ingredients like guava, pink pepper, cedar and musk, it is intended to be fresh but sensual, evoking feelings of a European summer.
