The International Fashion Trade Show in Mexico

Intermoda is the most important international platform in the fashion industry in Latin America. It gathers designers, manufacturers, suppliers, international and national buyers to showcase the most outstanding trends of the season.

Fashion and accessories firms from Mexico and other Latin American countries gather at the prestigious Intermoda event to advance their seasonal proposals and commercialize their designs. In addition to enjoying a large exhibition area, designers can present their creations on the Intermoda catwalk and participate in the conferences that this show proposes for professionals in the sector.

In this next edition, 43,000 m2 of exhibition are prepared, more than 1,300 stands, 950 companies in the fashion sector, more than 15 conferences specialized in fashion, business, innovation, and global trends in the sector will be explored with a new area called “Summit” with which they will have training for attendees through 10 talks of 30 minutes each; 14 catwalks, a pavilion for new designers and established designers, among others.

The event presents a multifaceted program with conferences, catwalks, sumit and special events such as social and networking cocktails that should not be missed, the organizers recommend touring the entire exhibition floor and visiting the Designers Corner area. Among the advantages that the event brings to its exhibitors is the National projection they will have, the direct approach with large national buyers such as department stores, boutique chains, and major suppliers of accoutrements, fabric machinery, and in general with the major players in the industry.

The most important fashion business fair in Mexico will implement a series of restrictions and protocols in compliance with the authorities’ recommendations to hold its next edition in September and thus boost the revival of the industry.

A few weeks ago, the Intermoda organization attended the Global Exhibitions Day 2020 event in Guadalajara, where the safety and hygiene standards of fairs and exhibitions in industrial and economic activity were met in the face of the current contingency, in line with them, to prepare edition 73 in a safe and reliable environment for exhibitors, buyers, suppliers, designers, visitors, the press and the entire human team behind the organization of the fair.

As explained by Intermoda, the 73rd edition will be atypical, but it will have the safety of visitors through different measures that will be implemented at Expo Guadalajara, Intermoda’s historic headquarters, including wider corridors, the temperature measurement for each attendee, the mandatory use of masks and the application of antibacterial gel.

The organization also emphasizes that in addition to the protocols previously identified, all the recommendations established by the health organizations and the event venue, so the list of restrictions and provisions could be modified verse as the start date of the 73rd edition, scheduled for September 1.
