London, March 2018 – Atelier Swarovski will today celebrate ten years with an exclusive one-day exhibition at Phillips Gallery, which brings to life the anniversary book Brilliant – The Story of Atelier Swarovski, published by Condé Nast.
Nadja Swarovski, Founder and Creative Director of Atelier Swarovski, commented: “Atelier Swarovski was founded to push the creative boundaries of crystal through inspiring collaborations with the world’s leading talent. The brand’s enduring success is a tribute to all the incredible designers whose creative vision brings our crystal to life.”
The immersive exhibition, curated by art director and set designer Simon Costin and presented at Phillips Gallery, will take visitors on an inspiring journey through a decade of Atelier Swarovski. The installation will showcase items from the Swarovski archive, select jewelry and design pieces from Atelier Swarovski and dynamic runway films and projections, alongside interactive elements including a VR experience, digital timelines and a bespoke Instagram moment.
Following a preview of the exhibition, guests will attend a panel discussion entitled The Power of Collaboration to Drive Creativity and Innovation, moderated by esteemed fashion editor Tim Blanks. On the panel, Nadja Swarovski will be joined by designers Viktor&Rolf, Pippa Small and Stephen Webster; Director of the Whitechapel Gallery Iwona Blazwick; and author and fashion historian Bronwyn Cosgrave. These distinguished friends of the brand will explore the collaborative spirit at the heart of Atelier Swarovski.
As part of Swarovski’s commitment to nurturing and inspiring the next generation of talent, Atelier Swarovski has invited arts students from Central Saint Martins and the London School of Fashion to attend the panel discussion.
In the evening the exhibition space will be transformed for a cocktail event, with stunning light projections and visual effects inspired by crystal and Swarovski’s mastery of light.
The Atelier Swarovski 10th Anniversary book launch, panel discussion and exhibition will be at Phillips Gallery, London, on March, 2018.
